We are sharing this weekend with the annual Art in the Park festival. Because of this, we found it necessary to reserve blocks of rooms to ensure our conference attendees would have space available to them.

We have included all costs in the packages as stated, except the cost of the Lehman Caves tour on Thursday, August 5. You will have your choice of a ½ hour tour for $4 or a one hour tour for $8. These fees can be paid at the park. Please let us know which tour you are selecting on your registration form so we may advise the park rangers in advance.

The box lunches on Thursday, August 5, include your choice of sandwich (see registration form) a fresh fruit cup, chips, and homemade cookies. We will provide bottled water and sodas during the tour and at lunch.

There will be a no host bar at both the Friday night dinner at the Postal Palace and the Saturday night dinner at the East Ely Railroad Depot Freight Barn.

There will be concessions for sale (including beer) during the train ride on Saturday, August 7.

Coffee and tea will be provided during presentations at the Bristlecone Convention Center on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Soft drinks and bottled water will be available for purchase.

We have also included donations to the many nonprofit groups who are assisting us with the conference and the tours. These groups include the East Ely Railroad Depot Museum, the Nevada Northern Railway, Renaissance Village, Cave Lake State Park, and the Ghost Riders.

Our hotels are:

The historic Hotel Nevada & Gaming Hall was built in 1929 and there is history around every corner. The hotel also has all the modern amenities including comfortable beds, hairdryers and coffee pots in every room, free Wi-Fi, a casino, and 24-hour restaurant. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

The hotel is just two short blocks from the Bristlecone Convention Center.

The Prospector Hotel & Casino is perfect for anyone who wants a modern hotel with all the amenities. The hotel features comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant and lounge, indoor pool and exercise room, free Wi-Fi, a casino, and a business center open 24/7 in case you forgot your laptop and need to check e-mails. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.
